This usually results in very low rates of return. Our financial section covers other Financial Institutions, Mortgages, Investment Consultants, Credit & Finance Companies - and Crowd Funding!

Had appointment to close account to be told it had to be done over the phone anyway because it was a weekend. At least they got me straight through to the right person on the phone

Excellent service in bank as well as by phone, the staff can't be faulted, I will not use another bank

What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!

Belmont Surgery

Broomside Ln, Durham DH1 2QW, UK – 0191 300 9661

Yes it is not always easy to get an appointment but I have found the reception staff to be extremely patient (even when I have been rude due to frustration!) and they always try their best to get you the help you need. I miss Dr Harrison but Dr Farley has always been great at listening, reassuring and treating my various illnesses with confidence and compassion.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

University Hospital of North Durham

North Rd, Durham DH1 5TW, UK – 0191 333 2333

I'm now familiar with the IT data share and communication network between private and public business i.e the media. Advice to anyone reading this review please keep a record of your medical history on you at all times as the staff are prone to information overload. Health is the most important part of life and it is essential you keep a record of your own as the staff may alter records to avoid financial loss. I am unsure of what to make of this.

My Son was a day case patient on the treetops ward 7. The staff in this Hospital are fantastic, there was nothing that was to much trouble for them. Every area I visited was clean and free of Rubbish. Having used other Hospitals in the area, I feel I can say yours came out on top. Perhaps North Tees Hospital trust should take a leaf from your book. My Son and I thank you.

Well organised clear signposting of skips. Staff are helpful. Easy to recycle

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Restaurant 17

17 Elvet Bridge, Durham DH1 3AA, UK – 0191 384 9050

We were visiting Durham with friends and had dinner one night in this gem of a restaurant. The food was first class and the prices very reasonable ( although we do come from Edinburgh! ) The choice and presentation was good and the staff friendly and helpful but professional. If you are looking for a good meal in a restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and good prices you can do no better - but do book.

London prices but very nice food and lovely staff. Do check whether you need sides with your main. Would thoroughly recommend for a high quality meal out.

Durham High School for Girls

Farewell Hall, South Rd, Durham DH1 3TB, UK – 0191 384 3226

My daughter has attended this school for 5 years and I have been very impressed by the level of care shown to all girls in the school. The staff will go over and above the average to help girls in need either with school work or over personal issues. There is a warmth and security in the school environment in which girls thrive and can develop their own personalities without fear of ridicule. Many opportunities are open to the girls including foreign trips, Duke of Edinburgh, Charitable work, sport, cooking, debating etc. There exists a range of bursaries so girls from all different economic backgrounds can attend. I rate this school very highly.
